Spicy Southwestern egg bake for an easy breakfast. Easy egg bake with eggs, cream, chile peppers, Cheddar cheese, and seasonings.
6 large eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream or whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can (4 ounces) chopped mild green chile peppers, drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 325°.
In medium bowl, beat eggs with cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.Stir in chile peppers. Sprinkle cheese over the bottom of a lightly greased shallow baking dish. Pour egg mixture over cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until set. Broil for a minute or so to brown top, if desired.
